This 35,000 s.f. building on the east side of Las Cruces, NM is the co-located East Area Police Command Center and Fire Station #8. The two-story portion houses the City of Las Cruces Police Department Criminal Investigations, Uniformed Enforcement, Code Enforcement, Keep Las Cruces Beautiful, and the in-custody lock-down area. Fire Station #8 houses three rotating crews of six fire fighters and three apparatus bays. Joint use shared areas include a large fitness area and locker rooms, a large public conference room, and lobby.

This project was won the 2015 Justice Facilities Review Award for demonstrating quality of form, functionality, and current architectural response to complex justice design issues.
