WDG Architects and RMKM Architecture of Albuquerque are joining forces for a powerful team to design the new NMSU D.W. Williams Hall, home of the NMSU Art Department and Art Gallery. Throughout the summer programming meetings and were conducted with faculty and staff, then recently moving to conceptual design. The Las Cruces Sun-News published a feature about the project September 10, 2015. We expect Williams Hall will be the highest profile project at NMSU since the performing arts center, but with President Carruthers’ clear design directive for the future character of the campus, the project will be much more universally received. WDG Architects has a long history of serving NMSU and are excited about the new partnership with RMKM on Williams Hall. The two firms also partnered on the City of Las Cruces Public Safety Facility currently under construction.
