Sierra Middle School Gymnasium Addition
Completed in two phases, the major addition and renovation project at Sierra Middle School in Las Cruces, New Mexico is comprised of a new 18,850 square foot gymnasium and locker room addition and a 5,925 square foot Music Wing renovation. The gymnasium addition was completed on schedule in August 2016 with students using the new gym shortly after school started. The addition includes the gym, locker rooms, rest rooms, concession stand and renovated fitness and weight rooms. The renovated music wing includes band, chorus, and orchestra classrooms, instrument storage, practice rooms, music library and offices. New outdoor basketball courts were constructed east of the music wing.
