Jornada Elementary sought a design for a definitive entry with a secured reception space. The project, which is currently under construction, brings a modern, inviting aesthetic to the existing school. Visitors to the school now have a reception space to interact with administration, and the administrative staff have full view and control over the public entry.

The new lobby addition is lively configured with school colors. Tall windows shade direct sun but allow plenty of natural daylight. An existing classroom was renovated to an office area for staff, Principal, Assistant Principal, and conference area with casework storage for better organization of supplies. The former administration area was renovated into a replacement classroom for SPED learning.
