As the firm’s Principal Architect, Mr. Clarke is involved in the overall project management and is responsible for the projects’ success and client satisfaction. David’s leadership directs strategic operations and vision for the firm. He has 33 years of experience in the profession including teaching architecture in universities for ten years. David is a published author and has traveled in over 30 countries. He has previously practiced architecture in Los Angeles, Scottsdale, Boston, and the Caribbean, is NCARB Certified, and holds architect’s licenses in New Mexico, Texas, Arizona, and California.

Ms. Clarke directs project interior design and day-to-day operational management and marketing strategies. Wendy’s 30 years of experience includes commercial and residential interior design, event planning, and real estate staging. At WDG, besides overseeing interior design with a keen ability to compose materials and colors effectively, she coordinates publicity including events and press releases, provides firm administration, employment benefits and policies, and maintains office operations. Her skills with public and client relations serve as an integral part of our firm.

Mr. Haas is a respected and honored design architect. He is known for designs that are innovative and cost effective. Richard will guide and coordinate the design and documentation process ensuring a buildable solution. Richard is NCARB Certified and is a licensed architect in New Mexico, Texas, Arizona, and Oklahoma.

Ms. Burkholder has a broad range of experience not only in architecture, but in construction as well. This knowledge allows her to effectively manage public sector projects, from documentation to quality control in the field, to post-occupancy building management. Ashley is a licensed architect in New Mexico, LEED Accredited, and is broadly experienced with programming, master planning, and design of public and higher education facilities and federal facilities for military bases and Sandia National Laboratories. She also has worked closely with Albuquerque’s Office of Neighborhood Revitalization as a special construction consultant for the Home Owner Rehabilitation Program.

Mr. Fuemmeler has 12 years of experience in design development, documentation, and project management for public sector projects. His role as Project Architect is to oversee the project development and technical documentation, coordinate consultants, and actively manage the projects’ schedule. Joseph readily embraces new challenges and encourages a collaborative project environment. Joseph holds an architect’s license in New Mexico.

Mr. Lucero is a Project Manager with experience in commercial and educational design and construction, with specialized knowledge of public school projects and PSFA procedures. Gabe has worked throughout Southern New Mexico and has experience in design processes, client coordination, construction documents, code research, and construction management. His focus is to understand the client’s needs and incorporate them into a unique design.

As BIM Manager, Mr. Bluth is responsible for initiating, maintaining, and developing the firm’s Building Information Modeling library, templates, training, and standards. In project management, he provides clients with thorough and thoughtful attention to project budgets and schedules. Our most frequent repeat client, New Mexico State University, requests Michael by name for their projects. Michael was previously a general contractor, a Revit (BIM software) teacher at El Paso Community College, and is now working on a Master of Architecture degree at Lawrence Technical University.

Mr. Contreras supports the staff architects and project managers with drafting, graphics, 3D modeling, and project research. Ruben’s research at Tulane included design and fabrication of custom furniture and involvement in the Urban Build program building a home in collaboration with the New Orleans Housing Association. He also contributed in the documentation of historic structures at Yellowstone National Park.

With over 42 years of construction experience, Mr. Remington services clients during the construction phase with review of submittals, responses to RFI’s, field observation, and resolving team conflicts. While being a roof construction specialist, he was previously a member of the Carpenter’s Union and holds the respect of all trades and general contractors in the area.
